* The 2015-16 parking plan has been finalized. Major changes to the plan include shortened enforcement hours in student lots and the relocation of the Shocker Hall parking lot to the main campus. * WSU has announced a tuition discount for Oklahoma and Texas residents, making the cost of attending school significantly less than nonresident charges. Tuition charges are equal to 150 percent of regular in-state tuition. Complete the form at http://www.wichita.edu/waivers or call 978-3070 if you have questions.

* Stop by the RSC's Fastbreak Lounge from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 17) to hear live music from Sterling Gray. Come by again from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, for live music from Vineyard. Grab your favorite Starbucks drink and relax to some tunes.

* Student groups are invited to send three pictures to charles.thompson@wichita.edu for the memories slideshow in convocation. Convocation 2015 will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Charles Koch Arena.

* The University Bookstore has started selling product from local popcorn store Popcorner, located in Andover. After a public taste-testing, the flavors the Bookstore will carry are Classic White, Birthday Cake, Tuxedo, Savory Cheddar, Peanut Butter Crisp and Cinnamon. Stop by to try them all.

* Volunteers are needed to manually count bicyclists and pedestrians at several locations in the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization region, including Goddard, Derby, Andover, Mulvane, Park City, Wichita and others from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. * During the majority of reconstruction work of the 17th Street sanitary sewer near the Wichita State campus, traffic on 17th Street will be limited to one lane in each direction between Yale Avenue and Bluff Street. * The Kansas City Royals have announced the return of Wichita State Night for the 2015 season. Join your fellow Shocker fans for an evening of big league action to watch the Royals take on the Chicago White Sox. The Royals are offering a special Shocker/Royal hat to the first 2,000 fans who present a Wichita State Night ticket that can only be purchased at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?3852. Please arrive early to receive a cap. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and caps are only available at Gate B.
