* Doug MacLeod, winner of the Blues Music Awards Acoustic Artist of the Year and Acoustic Album of the Year, will ply his talents as a singer, songwriter, storyteller and blues guitar player in the Art for Your Ears summer concert series. He will perform at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 6) at McKnight Outdoor Plaza on the WSU campus. In case of inclement weather, the location is the CAC Theater. Ulrich Museum galleries are open until 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.

* The Office of Adult Learning invites you to join them for an open house from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, inside entrance D at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. There will be light refreshments, including brownies.

* Help make a difference in a child's life. Join us for a fund raiser to aid those with autism and speech, language and hearing disorders, with proceeds to support children at WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, a RiteCare Clinic. The Mystery Theatre production "Murder at Venue332, Death by Champagne & Chocolate," will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at 332 E. * The WSU Transitions and Orientation office is hosting many orientation programs this summer, bringing hundreds of guests to campus. Parking lots near Ahlberg Hall are reserved for our guests to transfer/returning adults orientation Saturday, Aug. 8; transfer and guest orientation Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 10-11; and freshman and guest orientation Thursday and Friday, Aug. 13-14.

* All university employees are invited to hear a campus update from President John Bardo and faculty and staff speakers focusing on the strategic goals. Please join us at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, in the RSC's Shirley Beggs Ballroom.
