* Doug MacLeod, winner of the Blues Music Awards Acoustic Artist of the Year and Acoustic Album of the Year, will ply his talents as a singer, songwriter, storyteller and blues guitar player in the Art for Your Ears summer concert series. He will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at McKnight Outdoor Plaza on the WSU campus. In case of inclement weather, the location is the CAC Theater. Ulrich Museum galleries are open until 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
* Save the date for an upcoming event to share information and ideas related to big data. The College of Engineering together with Ennovar will host an event to share information and ideas on the subject of big data at WSU from 2-3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 261 RSC.
