John Belt from the Academy for Effective Teaching will speak during the "Importance of the First Day of Class" event from 9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in 301 RSC, Gridley Room. Fran Cook from RTT will also discuss finding funding, grant writing, budgeting, managing awards and licensing intellectual property. Light breakfast will be provided.
