"We are deeply saddened by the tragic death this morning of a WSU student," said Wichita State University President John Bardo. "The University Police Department is working closely with the Wichita Police Department on the investigation. The student's name is being withheld pending notification of loved ones.

"The continued safety of our students, faculty, staff and guests is a top priority," said Bardo.
