Auditions for the fall semester in Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Arts Ensemble and Shocker Sound Basketball Band will be held soon, and you are invited to visit Duerksen Fine Arts Center to sign up for an audition slot. Jazz Band audition times are by appointment with Geoffrey Deibel, and Shocker Sound auditions will be held Friday, Sept. 11. All other band auditions will be today (Monday, Aug. 17) to Thursday, Aug. 20. Honorariums are available for the basketball band. No tuition is assessed for band course enrollments. Openings in all sections. Prior band experience needed. Also, Shocker Sound would like to invite any and all players to join us at convocation Tuesday, Aug. 25, for a short appearance to kick off the year.
