Reminders, deadlines and events
* Attend the Council of University Women Meet-and-Greet Open House from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Aug. 19, in 233 RSC. Stop by to get a preview of the upcoming year, sign up to host one of the events or complete your membership form.
* The university is holding a safety forum for all students and members of the campus community from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the CAC Theater. University officials and representatives from the Wichita Police Department will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.
* The Office of Academic Affairs has returned to its home in 109 Morrison Hall.
* Stop by the RSC's Fastbreak Lounge from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 18) for live music from Vineyard. Grab your favorite Starbucks drink and relax to some tunes.
* Faculty and staff play an important role in helping students get the help they need in stressful times. In light of recent campus events, please keep an extra eye out for each other and for students needing support. Emotional support and assistance is available from the Counseling & Testing Center in 320 Grace Wilkie Hall. In addition, Counseling & Testing Center clinicians are always willing to meet with specific departments and groups as needed.
