* The Department of Biological Sciences will feature a number of seminars from 4-5 p.m. Mondays during the fall in 231 Hubbard Hall. Michael Heggeness of the University of Kansas Medical Center-Wichita, will present "The use of gene therapy in the tissue of engineering of bone," today (Monday, Aug. 24). * The next "WSU Day at KLC" will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the Kansas Leadership Center. The day provides a general orientation and interactive style to KLC ideas and their applicability to our settings at WSU. Faculty and staff in WSU departments and units are encouraged to attend this program together. Participants must register in advance through a secured KLC web link. * The League of Women Voters-Wichita Metro will celebrate the 95th anniversary of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. The event is being co-sponsored by the WSU Departments of Political Science, Women's Studies and the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs. It is free and open to the public.
