* Fall 2015 InterFest will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. This is an opportunity for international students to share the taste of their cultural cuisines with the WSU community. * Have you ever wondered how to join one of WSU's eight values-based fraternities? Register and participate in the first ever Guided Recruitment Process at WSU, and be exposed to the heritage and traditions of fraternity and sorority life at its best. * TRIO Disability Support Services is taking applications for peer mentors interested in working with students with disabilities. We're looking for well-connected sophomores, juniors and seniors who are academic achievers with Shocker Spirit. The application deadline is Friday, Aug. 28. * Students have two options to buy a parking permit, online or in person in Student Accounts in 201 Jardine Hall. Credit/debit purchases can be made online at http://www.wichita.edu/parkingpermit, and the permit will be available to pick up after 10 a.m. the next business day in the Student Accounts office in 201 Jardine Hall. In-person purchases can be made with cash or check in 201 Jardine Hall, and the permit will be issued at the same time.
* Volunteers are needed to manually count bicyclists and pedestrians at several locations in the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization region, including Goddard, Derby, Andover, Mulvane, Park City, Wichita and others from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
