* Join us for the Career Connection Root Beer Kegger from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 26) on the lawn in front of the RSC. Enjoy IBC Root Beer, a hot dog, valuable information about the WSU Career Development Center and a chance to network with more than 35 employers. Must present WSU student ID. Dress is casual. * Stop by the RSC's Fastbreak Lounge from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 26) to hear live music from Emily Strom.

* Kick off the school year with a road trip to Worlds of Fun on a charter bus. Interested guests must preregister in the Student Involvement office, 216 RSC, with their nonrefundable registration fee ($30 for WSU students). Registration will close today (Wednesday, Aug. 26). * Community Service Board will host the annual Volunteer Fair from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, on the first floor of the RSC. Visit more than 20 organizations and receive a free Kid President cupcake if you are one of the first 200 people to stop by at least five tables. * The most eclectic DJ in the ICT will be at Shocker Hall from 8-10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Shocker Hall courtyard. Glow Party with DJ Carbon is brought to you by Campus Ministry CONNECT and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

* Fall 2015 InterFest will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. This is an opportunity for international students to share the taste of their cultural cuisines with the WSU community. Applications for vendors are available at http://www.wichita.edu/isu/interfest until Thursday, Aug. 27. * The Evolving Leaders Program is designed for returning students to WSU who are looking to expand upon their leadership skills and abilities. * The Office of Transitions and Orientation will host a late orientation program for fall entry students from 12:30-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, in the RSC Shirley Beggs Ballroom. Students who did not attend an orientation program during the summer are encouraged to attend the program to fulfill the orientation requirement.
