* Catch the Shocker spirit at Convocation 2015 at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 25) in Charles Koch Arena. Pick up a free T-shirt and enjoy a free lunch. Institutional pride and a sense of community are often built around existing traditions, and convocation has become a valued WSU tradition.

* Join Student Health Services to discuss the topic of U.S. healthcare systems and health insurance from 3:30-4:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 25) in 201 Intensive English building, on the southwest corner of 17th and Hillside.

* Department Timekeepers: Pay Period #19 will have an unscheduled early sign-off at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28. Please make sure that any record that should be paid is "Approved" no later than 10 a.m.

* The Office of Research will hold a workshop for WSU faculty and staff for "Award Management: Keeping Your Award on Track to the Final Report," from 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday Aug. 27, in 405 Jardine Hall. * The installation of the Tom Otterness group sculpture "Makin' Hay" will be publicly unveiled from 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 27, at the intersection of Mike Oatman Drive and Perimeter Road.
