* The installation of the Tom Otterness group sculpture "Makin' Hay" will be publicly unveiled from 11 a.m.-noon today (Thursday, Aug. 27) at the intersection of Mike Oatman Drive and Perimeter Road. * The Office of Research will hold a workshop for WSU faculty and staff for "Award Management: Keeping Your Award on Track to the Final Report," from 1:30-3 p.m. today (Thursday Aug. 27) in 405 Jardine Hall. * Department Timekeepers: Pay Period #19 will have an unscheduled early sign-off at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28. Please make sure that any record that should be paid is "Approved" no later than 10 a.m.

* Faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the assessment being conducted in Student Involvement from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Marcus Welcome Center, Clark Room. A discussion will center on the learning outcomes, tools and information gained through this assessment on student learning, event-based data and information learned from participating in the Skyfactor (formerly EBI) National Student Activities Assessment. * The next "WSU Day at KLC" will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at the Kansas Leadership Center. The day provides a general orientation and interactive style to KLC ideas and their applicability to our settings at WSU. Faculty and staff in WSU departments and units are encouraged to attend this program together. Participants must register in advance through a secured KLC web link.
