Wichita State University becomes a NASPA lead institution

Wichita State has been selected as a member of the 2015-16 NASPA Lead Initiative (http://www.naspa.org/rpi/lead-initiative). WSU will be part of a group of nearly 80 institutions dedicated to promoting civic learning and democratic engagement as a core function of the divisions of student affairs and academic affairs.

NASPA's Lead Initiative on Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (Lead Initiative) comprises a network of colleges and universities committed to encouraging and highlighting the work of universities in making civic learning and democratic engagement a part of every student's college education.

The Service-Learning team -- Rhonda Lewis, Natalie Grant and Chelsea Redger -- will work with this initiative as part of the year four co-hort.
