Kansas NSF EPSCoR announces a funding opportunity for First Awards in the areas of climate or energy research or atomic/molecular/optical science. The First Award program helps early career faculty become competitive for funding from the research directorates at the National Science Foundation. Letters of intent are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, and proposals are due by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26.
