* The Human Resources employment team will be out of the office for team development today (Monday, Aug. 31). The employment team will be back in the office Tuesday, Sept. 1, and will respond to all email and voicemail messages at that time in the order they were received.

* Tatjana Piotrowski with Stowers Institute for Media Research will give a presentation in the fall Biological Sciences seminar series at 4 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 31) in 231 Hubbard Hall. The presentation is titled "How Does the Zebrafish Mechanosensory Lateral Line System Form and Regenerate?"

* To receive your HealthQuest discount, you must complete the Health Assessment Questionnaire, which includes required biometric information. * Kansas NSF EPSCoR announces a funding opportunity for First Awards in the areas of climate or energy research or atomic/molecular/optical science. Letters of intent are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, and proposals are due by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26.
