* Discover the health resources available to students on campus. Visit the Mini Health Fair from noon-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 2) in 142 RSC.
* Faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the assessment being conducted in Student Involvement from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Marcus Welcome Center, Clark Room. A discussion will center on the learning outcomes, tools and information gained through this assessment on student learning, event-based data and information learned from participating in the Skyfactor (formerly EBI) National Student Activities Assessment. * The Instructional Technology and Design department reminds you that they are available to conduct training or information sessions in your departments. These trainings can focus on any aspect of online learning including Blackboard, Photoshop, social media, gaming, video capture, open source material and any topic that might help your group. * To tell the world about your activities, research, accomplishments/awards, presentations, publications and upcoming events, complete the form at http://www.wichita.edu/submitinfo. When submitting news and information check for misspellings; spell out acronyms in the description; check facts like spelling of names, phone numbers, addresses, etc.; and if you include URLs in the description, check to be sure they go to a working website.
* The Travel Office says the travel approval process just got simpler. Instead of going to the TEM (Travel and Expense Management System) to submit a travel document, it can now be done by clicking the link in the approval email and approving via workflow. * The Council of University Women (CUW) September luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in 223 RSC. Register and pay online by Friday, Sept. 4, at http://bit.ly/1JtITKn or contact Fran Cook at 978-6807. The cost is $9 for CUW members and $10 for guests attending with a member.
