* Discover the health resources available on campus. Visit the Mini Health Fair from noon-2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 2) in 142 RSC. Resources include Student Health Services, Campus Recreation, Counseling and Testing, Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation, Dental Hygiene Clinic, WSU Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, Prevention Services Advisory Board and WSU Dining Services/Sodexo Inc.

* The deadline for vendors to sign up for InterFest 2015 has been extended to Saturday, Sept. 5. This is an opportunity for international students to share the taste of their cultural cuisines with the WSU community. Applications for vendors are available at http://www.wichita.edu/isu/interfest. The Fall 2015 InterFest will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.

* Student Involvement is looking for nominations for the 2015 Man and Woman of the Year scholarship competition. Applicants should be role models for other students and be seen as a positive representation of Wichita State, on campus and in the community. * Join the Community Service Board and help the Kansas Food Bank with their Food 4 Kid's Backpack Program from 2-4 p.m. on the following Fridays -- Sept. 4 and 18, Oct. 9 and 30, and Nov. 20. Transportation from WSU will be provided if requested. Sign up quickly as we only have spots for the first 25 people who sign up for each date. * The Heskett Center will be open as follows during the Labor Day weekend -- 1-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5-6, and 1-11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7. The Wiedemann Natatorium will be open from 3-8 p.m., diving boards from 3:30-7:30 p.m. and Shocker Fit Class from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7.

* Emerging Leaders is an opportunity for new students to WSU (freshmen/transfer sophomores) to get on the fast-track to student leadership, campus and community involvement. Students participating in the Emerging Leaders Program will be matched up with an upperclassman mentor.
