Dean Headley, Airline Quality Rating co-author and associate professor of marketing at Wichita State University, will announce this year's holiday forecast for airline travel and offer tips to air travelers during the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The news conference will be held at 10 a.m. CDT Thursday, Sept. 10.

Local media are welcome to attend the news conference in the Media Resources Center at WSU. Headley will take questions from local media when the virtual news conference ends.

Headley says that given the stress of travel and the airlines' efforts to fill seats, manners and consideration for others' shared space needs to be part of every traveler's holiday spirit.

Being self-reliant, informed and prepared is the best protection against the hassles of air travel, Headley says.
