* The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences presents Professor Michael Jablonski from the University of Oklahoma at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 4) in 372 Jabara Hall. Jablonski will present "Geometric Invariant Theory meets Riemannian Geometry." Come for refreshments before the talk at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall.

* The Council of University Women (CUW) September luncheon will be from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in 223 RSC. * The College of Engineering is hosting "Path to Entrepreneurship," a guest lecture by Khalid Raza, a WSU alum and the founder of Viptela, a Silicon Valley startup providing innovative solutions to computer networking challenges. * Meritrust and WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship have announced the fall 2015 Business Booster Series. Attend one or more sessions for a fast-acting dose of practical know-how. The series runs from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Fridays, starting on Sept. 18, in Devlin Hall. The cost is $20 per session for faculty/staff.
