* The College of Engineering is hosting "Path to Entrepreneurship," a guest lecture by Khalid Raza, a WSU alum and the founder of Viptela, a Silicon Valley startup providing innovative solutions to computer networking challenges. * The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has updated many applications and templates on their website. Visit the IRB Documents and Forms page before your next submission to be sure you are using the most up-to-date forms. The IRB administrator will hold a come-and-go open lab from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, for faculty, staff and students who have questions about the new forms or about their study in general. These are come-and-go labs with no registration required.

* The Leadership Book Club is a new initiative through Student Involvement that's open to any faculty, staff or student interested in conversing with others about leadership. * Participants from 18-55 years old are needed to help the Software Usability Research Lab investigate how people use different monitor configurations for typical office tasks. * In an effort to reduce growing serial costs within a climate of ongoing budgetary constraints, University Libraries has compiled lists of journals, databases and monographic serial subscriptions to be canceled based primarily on cost-per-use and availability in full-text databases.
