Join Wichita State and the Fairmount Park Association for Celebrate Safe Communities from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Fairmount Park, 1647 N. Yale Blvd., just south of campus. Enjoy a free family-friendly block party that will build camaraderie and promote a safer community. There will be several fun activities, music, food and giveaways, along with campus and community resources available for free to all who attend. This event will also help the community and campus get to know the Wichita Police and Wichita State Police Department.
