* Gather some of your buddies and get muddy with SAC. Test your teamwork skills through volleyball and tug-of-war. Preregistration is required and is open till 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Student Involvement, 216 RSC. Come out and enjoy the mud at noon Saturday, Sept. 19. * Join Wichita State and the Fairmount Park Association for Celebrate Safe Communities from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Fairmount Park, 1647 N. Yale Blvd., just south of campus. Enjoy a free family-friendly block party that will build camaraderie and promote a safer community.
* The WSU Engineering Council presents a Puzzle Hunt at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. Ten teams of four will compete across campus for prizes. Each clue gives rise to a new location, which will get your team one step closer to the end. Each clue uses math and engineering problem-solving skills along with WSU trivia. * The Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) Nuts and Bolts Conference is 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, in the CAC Theater. * Plan now if you're interested in joining the Middle East Travel Seminar to Istanbul, Cappadocia and Ephesus with political science professor Carolyn Shaw, June 14-25, 2016. * United in Wu is a diversity camp Friday, Sept. 18-Monday, Sept. 21, that equips WSU students with knowledge and training on issues of multicultural and diversity education.
