* The next Chemistry Colloquium at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 23) in 224 McKinley Hall, will feature a presentation by James Bashkin from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. Bashkin will present "Design and Serendipity in Antiviral Compounds for High Risk Human Papillomavirus: High Activity, Low Toxicity, and a New Biological Mechanism for Polyamides."
* Join Shocker Startup for its first general meeting at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 23) in 209 Hubbard Hall. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend, and pizza will be provided. Shocker Startup is an entrepreneurship-based organization dedicated to providing students with opportunities to create, expand and maintain innovative ideas.
