Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* Photo-based artist Annu Palakunnathu Matthew will present artwork that explores her experiences of living between cultures -- England, India and the United States -- in a program at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 25) in the CAC Theater. A reception will be held prior to her presentation at 5:30 p.m. in the Ulrich Museum.

* The WSU volleyball team will host Indiana State at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 25) and Illinois State at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* WSU's School of Performing Arts presents the musical revue "Smokey Joe's Cafe," at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 25) and Saturday, Sept. 26, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, in Wilner Auditorium. * Faculty and staff are invited to submit a proposal on how you use technology in the classroom and workplace at the 5th Annual Learn More: 2015 WSU Technology Fair. Proposals are due by Thursday, Oct. 1. Submit a proposal at http://www.wichita.edu/learnmore.

* Join us for a fund raiser to aid those with autism and speech, language and hearing disorders, with proceeds to support children at WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, a RiteCare Clinic. The Mystery Theatre production "Murder at Venue332, Death by Champagne & Chocolate," will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at 332 E. * The State of Kansas offers free flu shots for employees and their spouses (employees' children are not eligible) who have a Caremark/State ID number. A clinic will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in 261 RSC (Olive Room). Fill out a consent form and bring it with you.
