* Concerned about what's happening to our environment? Want to see a greener campus? Curious about what other universities are doing to be more sustainable? Come to the fall semester organizational meeting for the WSU GreenGroup at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 30) in the Geology Library in 115 Geology Building, first floor near lecture room 101. Come with ideas or just come to hear what we're all about. All are welcome.
* The Fall 2015 Physics Seminar Series continues at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 30) in 128 Jabara Hall. Chris Quigg, with Fermi National Accelerator Lab in Chicago, will present "Particle Physics in a Season of Change." http://www.wichita.edu/physics

* The Fall 2015 Chemistry Colloquium Series continues at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 30) in 224 McKinley Hall. Christopher Culbertson of Kansas State University will present "Novel Microfluidic Devices for the Rapid Analysis of Single Cells."
* WSU is a federally-funded organization that relies on grant money for some programs. In order to ensure the continued funding, it is critical we accurately report the number of veterans and individuals with disabilities that we employ. * WSU will work with AACRAO Consulting on a strategic enrollment management (SEM) plan over the course of this year. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend one of these workshops at 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in 208 Hubbard Hall, or 8:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, in the CAC Theater. * Take the Lead Reception, hosted by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in 233 RSC. This reception is for students, faculty and staff to get to know some of the prominent Hispanic leaders in the Wichita community.
