* A Thirsty Thursday: LGBT History Month event will be held from 11 a.m.-noon today (Thursday, Oct. 1) in 266 RSC. Learn about important people and times through an interactive workshop hosted by the Greater Wichita Chapter.
* WSU's College of Education will host three ED Talks for the 2015-16 academic year. The first one is at 5 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 1) at Marcus Welcome Center, featuring guest speaker Randy Watson. Watson will present data gathered on skills, characteristics and traits of a 24-year-old in Kansas.
* WSU Feminists invite you to hear Sein Lengeju, president of Keep Girls Safe, at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 1) in 231 Hubbard Hall. Lengeju will talk about increasing awareness and eradicating female genital mutilation in Kansas, as well as in Kenya.
* Registration is open for the Majors & Minors Fair, which will be held from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the RSC Beggs Ballroom.
