* The Chemistry Colloquium will feature a presentation by Emily McLaurin from Kansas State University at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 7) in 224 McKinley Hall. "Controlling Nanocrystal Photoluminescence Using Surface Chemistry," is the title of the presentation.
* Registration is open for the Majors & Minors Fair until Friday, Oct. 16, at http://www.wichita.edu/MMRegistration. The fair will be held from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the RSC Beggs Ballroom. Increase enrollment in your college and help exploring and undecided students find their dream program or complementary minor at Wichita State. * The Business Booster Series will present a one-day workshop, "Develop a Winning SBIR/STTR Proposal," from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in Devlin Hall. The cost is just $75, although lunch, materials and a future proposal review are valued at $450.
