* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) invites you to "Say it LOUD I am an Ally," from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 14) on the first floor, RSC. Join ODI and declare yourself an ally of the LGBTQ community. An ally is a person who takes a demonstrable action supporting members of a marginalized group with which they do not identify.
* All University Support Staff are invited to the USS Senate's Open House and Meet & Greet event from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 14) in 258 RSC.
* The Elliott School of Communication offers a variety of events to further students' knowledge during Communication Week 2015, today (Wednesday, Oct. 14) and Thursday, Oct. 15. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4334 for more information.
* Starting today (Wednesday, Oct. 14) the Shocker Fit schedule will change. Participate in new classes such as Pilates and Turbo Kick, and check the schedule for time revisions. Visit http://www.wichita.edu/shockerfit for more information.
* The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has updated many of the applications and templates on their website. The IRB Administrator will hold come-and-go Open Labs this fall for faculty, staff and students who have questions about the new forms or about their study in general. Upcoming labs are from 12:30-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in 405 Jardine Hall.
* The State of Kansas is offering free flu shots for employees and their spouses (employee's children are not eligible) who have a Caremark/State ID number. WSU's last clinic will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in 261 RSC. Fill out a consent form and bring it with you.
