* The next Cultural Ambassador Program (CAP) will feature Saudi Arabia. The Travel the World with CAP program will be led by Mustafa Albusaeed from noon-1 p.m. today (Friday, Oct. 16) in 142 RSC.

* Catch postseason Royals baseball at the Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes and register to win a prize pack that includes an official Kansas City Royals bowling ball, bag and souvenir bowling pin. Registrations will only be taken during games that air during normal hours of operation. The prize drawing will take place and the winner will be notified after the Royals' season ends.

* Shocker family members of all ages are sure to have an exciting time at the Fall Festival from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, on the south lawn of Corbin Hall. This event will feature an abundance of fall-themed activities. Admission is free, but nominal ticket rates apply; cash and check only. * Are you a student looking for a job? Then this event is for you. WSU is sponsoring the CareerQuest Autumn Career Expo from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. Meet with potential employers, attend an information session on conducting a successful job search and have your resume/cover letter reviewed by a CareerQuest representative. * Register for Big Pink Volleyball, a philanthropic volleyball tournament with a 4-foot-wide volleyball, to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The event will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the Heskett Center gym. The cost is $8 per person, which includes a free T-shirt and food. Teams must have at least five players. Register by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, to get the early bird registration discount of $5 per person. Registration forms can be found at http://www.wichita.edu/BigPinkVolleyball. * The Aging, Perception and Performance Lab (APPL) seeks volunteers to participate in auditory, visual and cognitive assessments for a speech understanding research experiment on WSU's main campus. * Student Activities Council and Student Government Association need your help updating the DVD collection in the library. The collection is available to all students, faculty and staff so they can rent some of today's most popular movies for free. * Students who will apply to graduate school and need to take the GRE are invited to attend a free GRE Prep Workshop from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 7. * The Career Development Center invites you to attend the first Wichita State Graduate School Fair from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the RSC Beggs Ballroom. Meet and mingle with graduate schools from across the United States, as well as WSU, and learn more about their individual programs. Business casual dress is required.
