Superheroes, Stand-Up and Sci-Fi: An Animated Life by Arie Kaplan

What is it like writing comic book scripts, graphic novels, video game scripts and nonfiction books, as well as jokes for TV comedy shows? In this lecture at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, in the lower level of Ablah Library, Arie Kaplan will talk about his acclaimed career as both author and screenwriter. He'll also explore the different creative processes he uses. He'll talk about his travels throughout the United States and Europe, including a journey to explore his roots in Poland shortly after the publication of his award-winning book, "From Krakow to Krypton: Jews and Comic Books."
