Wichita State will ring out the old year and bring in the new at its annual Shocker Madness basketball kickoff at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in Charles Koch Arena. This free event will feature a special championship ring presentation in honor of the men's and women's 2014-15 Missouri Valley Conference titles. Fans also will get their first look at some of the newest Shockers in an evening of fun that includes a slam-dunk contest, three-point shootout and scrimmages from both WSU teams. Season ticket holders will have an early opportunity to pick up their 2015-16 ticket books. Primary account holders may stop by the Shocker Ticket Office at any time during the event. Because of time constraints, student-athletes will not be available for autographs.
