* WSU Professor Emeritus James Ho will present "Low temperature specific heat of solids," at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 21) in 128 Jabara Hall. The presentation is part of the Fall 2015 Physics Seminar Series.
* WSU President John Bardo will present the keynote address at the Center for International Business Advancement (CIBA)-World Trade Council (WTC) of Wichita Banquet. The banquet, which takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Wichita Marriott, will also include presentations from Anand Desai, dean of the W. * The State of Kansas Financial System (SMART) will be unavailable for all finance processing because of an upgrade from Nov. 5-12. Because of this, vendor payments (including employee travel reimbursement requests) received by Purchasing after 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, cannot be processed for payment by the State of Kansas until Nov. 13. * The Office of Admissions is looking for table hosts for this year's Shocker Honor Scholars Banquet.
