WSU has hired Zach Gearhart as its assistant director of Government Relations. Gearhart graduated with his bachelor's in political science and master's in public administration, both from Wichita State University. After completing his master's degree, he participated in a management fellowship in the Sedgwick Co. Manager's Office, working in government relations and finance. From there, he worked for the city of Derby as a budget analyst in the finance department prior to coming to WSU.
