Donald L. Gilstrap, dean and professor of University Libraries at Wichita State University, has been named dean of University Libraries at the University of Alabama, effective Jan. 4. "Don has made significant contributions here at Wichita State and I congratulate him on this new endeavor in his career," said Tony Vizzini, provost and senior vice president. "We will soon form a committee to conduct a national search for his successor."
