* MSNBC's popular national show "Morning Joe" is coming to Wichita State, and we want you to help welcome hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to Shocker Nation. The show will be broadcast from 5-8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, from Shocker Hall Dining. There is no cost. We'll have plenty of free coffee and food, as well as tons of prize giveaways (including tickets to Shocker men's basketball games). * WSU is hosting a career fair for SNT Media at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in 262 RSC. Listen to information about the company and the opportunities available. Immediately following the session, SNT Media will take resumes for all positions and hold on-the-spot screening interviews. * Ever feel like you can't get close enough to your favorite Shocker players? This WSU basketball-themed photo booth will have cutouts of some of your favorite players. Join Student Activities Council (SAC) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, on the first floor of the RSC, for fun, photos and Shocker pride.

* The Yale Mall Plaza - Safety Bollard Project starts this week (Nov. 2-6), and continues until early December. The project includes adding 4-inch-diameter stainless steel safety bollards along Yale Mall Plaza in order to limit vehicular traffic, and in turn, enhance pedestrian safety.

* Help raise awareness for blindness -- attend the first Sight Walk Wichita at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Sign up with a partner or be assigned to one to help guide you through what it's like to be blind. Tickets are $15, and will include a T-shirt, entry into the event and the after-walk party catered by Olive Garden and hosted by our sponsor, Delta Gamma. All proceeds will benefit Heather's Camp, a four-day, one-of-a-kind camp for children who are blind or visually impaired.

* TRIO Disability Support Services (DSS) is accepting students for the 2015-16 academic year. TRIO DSS offers services for students with disabilities who are low-income, first-generation with a documented physical, psychological disability and/or learning disorder. * Graduate students who are interested in showcasing their innovative graduate research project are encouraged to submit a proposal between Nov. 2-16, for the Graduate Research and Scholarly Projects (GRASP) event.
