A student-led group, "Helping Veterans Help Themselves," is doing a fundraising event for a management class project. Come out and enjoy a fun day of prizes, food and clay shooting event at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Shady Creek Shooting Range, 1252 N. Oliver Road in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Registration begins at 9 a.m. All proceeds will go to The Fisher House Foundation to help veterans get to and from treatment facilities. Only 200 spots are available, so sign up today and save $10.
