President Beggs supports sexual harassment training

Wichita State is committed to maintaining an environment free of sexual harassment where all can develop intellectually, professionally and personally. As a part of this commitment, Wichita State University will be offering, on an ongoing basis, advisory information sessions organized by the Office of Human Resources and the General Counsel's Office. I encourage each of you to take advantage of this educational opportunity and to encourage others to do the same (call Matthew Johnston at 978-6123 or Lisa Jones at 978-6791 to get more information on dates, times and locations).

Sexual harassment is harmful not only to the persons involved and their families and loved ones, but also to the entire university community. Working together, we can keep Wichita State moving forward in a positive direction and maintain an environment of dignity and respect for students, faculty and staff.

Don Beggs
President
