* The Leadership Discovery Summit is a half-day workshop from 1-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in 233 RSC that gives students the chance to identify their leadership abilities and learn how to better apply their skills to help both WSU and their communities. * TRIO Disability Support Services (DSS) is accepting students for the 2015-16 academic year. TRIO DSS offers services for students with disabilities who are low-income, first-generation with a documented physical, psychological disability and/or learning disorder. * Graduate students who are interested in showcasing their innovative graduate research project are encouraged to submit a proposal between Nov. 2-16, for the Graduate Research and Scholarly Projects (GRASP) event. * You and your friends are invited to be part of the Hunger Games Field Day Competition on Saturday, Nov. 14. Teams of six compete as a district in Hunger Games trivia, survival tests and group challenges to win points for your team. The team who survives the most challenges will be awarded trophies and a prize package to Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes. Check-in beings at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Heskett Center lobby. * Join the ladies of Alpha Phi for a lovely evening at the Red Dress Gala at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the RSC's Shirley Beggs Ballroom. Enjoy a live jazz band, dancing, hor d'oeuvres and lots of raffle items with the ladies of Alpha Phi. All proceeds will go to the Alpha Phi Foundation to support cardiac disease awareness and research, primarily in women.
