"Why is it time to abolish the death penalty" will be presented by Diann Rust-Tierney, executive director of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in 233 RSC. She will discuss the core arguments against the death penalty and highlight state specific updates about efforts to repeal the death penalty in Kansas. The talk is sponsored by WSU's School of Community Affairs, Kansas Colaition Against the Death Penalty and Criminal Justice Student Association.
