* The next Cultural Ambassador's Program is "Armenians: Motherland and Diaspora," from noon-1 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 13) in 266 RSC. This week's presentation by Tadeh Avanessian will include a brief overview of Armenia and what happened during the Armenian diaspora.

* The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences will feature a talk by Wichita State's Zheng Chen at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 13) in 372 Jabara Hall. Join us for refreshments before the lecture at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall. Chen's talk will be "Bio-inspired Underwater Robots Enabled by Electro-active Polymer Artificial Muscles."

* Celebrate the start of the Shocker Basketball Season with Shocker Season Starter at 4 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 13) in the Shocker Hall courtyard. There you'll find face painting, tailgating, food, photo booth, games, prizes and music. It's all free for students with a WSU ID -- and don't forget to bring your Shocker spirit.

* The men's basketball team will host Charleston Southern at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 13) in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Join Student Activities Council (SAC) for its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 18-19, on the first floor, RSC.
