Recently, the WSU Ceramics Guild, WSU Hunger Awareness Initiative and Ulrich Museum of Art presented the Kansas Food Bank with a $16,000 check from the Empty Bowls Chili Cook-off. The Chili Cook-off and events leading up to it require great commitments of time and energy from volunteers with the WSU Ceramics Guild, WSU Hunger Awareness Initiative and the Ulrich Museum of Art. The efforts of the volunteers combined with the tremendous support and patronage of Empty Bowls events made this donation to the Kansas Food Bank possible.
