Reminders, deadlines and events
* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites you to experience the Tunnel of Oppression from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 16) and Tuesday, Nov. 17, on the RSC third floor. The Tunnel of Oppression is a multisensory exhibition of some of the most difficult and complex issues we face today.
* You are invited to hear Tom Witt, president and lobbyist for the Equality Kansas group, in Professor Mel Kahn's lobbying class from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in 101 Lindquist Hall.
* What is the role of the artist as researcher, collector, activist and documentarian? Join POSTDATE: Photography and Inherited History in India curator, Jodi Throckmorton, for a talk examining the complex relationship between traditions of representation in India and contemporary practices of image making at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Ulrich Museum. A reception will precede the talk at 5:30 p.m.
* In celebration of International Education Week, the session on "Live & Learn Abroad" will be offered from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in 238 RSC. Hear a brief overview about WSU study abroad programs and listen to student panelists share about their study abroad experiences.
* Take over the RSC with SAC in a night filled with video games and board games. Channel your inner competitiveness and duel with other gamers to conquer the night. * The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources and Counseling and Testing invite you to Transgender training from 2:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in 266 RSC. This training will cover gender identity, transitioning, challenges posed, myths, misconceptions and inclusive language. The goal is to clarify the understanding of issues related to gender minority/transgender people. Sign up for this training at http://www.wichita.edu/transgender.
* Space is still available for students to live on campus for the upcoming spring semester. Students commuting have the option of signing a spring only contract that ends in May 2016. They will need to log in to their myWSU account and select "Campus Housing" under the home tab, and then complete the contract and payment. Room requests are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete the sign-up process as soon as possible.

* Try homemade pies from University Dining Services, now selling homemade pies just in time for the holidays. From pecan to pumpkin, they have many options for you to enjoy. Pies can be ordered from the Dining Services office in 235 RSC.
