* In response to an issue, the Media Resources Center has suspended the ability of instructors, graduate teaching assistants and organization leaders in Blackboard to add users to their classes and organizations until further notice. * The Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites you to experience the Tunnel of Oppression from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 16) and Tuesday, Nov. 17, on the RSC third floor. The Tunnel of Oppression is a multisensory exhibition of some of the most difficult and complex issues we face today. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will be closed during the hours of the Tunnel of Oppression.

* The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion, Human Resources and Counseling and Testing invite you to Transgender training from 2:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in 266 RSC. This training will cover gender identity, transitioning, challenges posed, myths, misconceptions and inclusive language. Sign up for this training at http://www.wichita.edu/transgender.

* You are invited to hear Tom Witt, president and lobbyist for the Equality Kansas group, in Professor Mel Kahn's lobbying class from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in 101 Lindquist Hall.

* Join Student Activities Council (SAC) for its annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 18-19, on the first floor, RSC. Purchase gifts for yourself or someone else from local merchants and artisans. Conveniently timed right before the holidays, there's something for everyone. * The University Libraries is hosting a SAGE Research Methods Lunch & Learn for faculty and staff from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, on the lower level, Ablah Library. Join us for lunch and a presentation by Heather Dray of SAGE that will focus on using SAGE Research Methods (SRM) in teaching, e.g., creating customized content lists for your courses and adding content to Blackboard. * In celebration of International Education Week, the session on "Live & Learn Abroad," will be offered from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in 238 RSC. Come and hear a brief overview about WSU study abroad programs, and listen to our student panelists as they share about their study abroad experiences.

* Spring 2016 Welcomefest, Jan. 16-30, is a two-week series of events at the beginning of each semester that includes entertainers, crafts and other programming to welcome students back to campus.
