Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol

Undergraduate student projects are sought for the Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. Undergraduate Research Day is an opportunity for students to present their research and creative activity experiences to state lawmakers in Topeka. This event also emphasizes higher education's role in developing educated citizens and preparing a workforce with the necessary skills to further the economic growth of the state. Preference will be given to projects that meet this goal. Up to five students from each university and up to 40 Kansas undergraduate student projects will be chosen for presentation. Cost of travel and poster production is covered by the university. For a submission form, go to http://www.wichita.edu/dayatcapitol. Submit an application by Friday, Jan. 15, to undergraduateresearch@wichita.edu.
