In light of recent events in Paris, France, and Beirut, Lebanon, Pi Delta Phi-Epsilon Sigma Chapter (French Honors Society) will host a peace rally from noon-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at the Plaza of Heroines on campus, to show solidarity for the victims and for the world. We encourage you to bring signs, candles, flowers and/or items that are bleu, blanc, rouge (blue, white, red) and/or wear the colors bleu blanc rouge.

Brigitte Roussel will welcome everyone, and a Pi Delta Phi officer will explain how the book signing will work. Then we will do as Parisians around the Place de la Republique are doing -- grieve, reflect, pay our respects, look at tributes and mingle.

If you are unable to attend, take a photo of yourself holding a message of support to post to a social media outlet (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) with the hashtags #WSUestParis and/or #ShockersforPeace.

In case of inclement weather, an alternate location will be provided.
