The WSU School of Social Work is collecting items to disperse to attendees at the Sedgwick County Point-in-Time count on Thursday, Jan. 28. This event is critical for collecting accurate data on the most vulnerable people who may be "street-level" homeless, and helps our county receive needed federal funding for local services. We are looking for toilet paper, gallon-sized baggies, flat-packaged wipes and travel-sized tissue packets to disperse to the hundreds who attend the county. Items can be dropped off in 528 Lindquist Hall now to Jan. 28, although donations are preferred by Thursday, Jan. 14. Donations also can be collected by arrangement within the Wichita area. Call 978-7250 if you have questions.
