* In light of recent events in Paris, France, and Beirut, Lebanon, Pi Delta Phi-Epsilon Sigma Chapter (French Honors Society) will host a peace rally from noon-2 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20) at the Plaza of Heroines in front of Ablah Library, to show solidarity for the victims and for the world.

* The Lecture Series in the Mathematical Sciences will present Dan Cheng from North Carolina State University at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20) in 372 Jabara Hall. Join us for refreshments before the lecture at 2:30 p.m. in 353 Jabara Hall.

* Wichita State's Office of Engagement and Opportunity and the Hugo Wall School invite you to a tribute to Letitia Davis from 5:30-6:30 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20) at Fairmount United Church of Christ, 1650 Fairmount St. WSU's Karen Countryman-Roswurm will provide the keynote address.

* WSU's School of Performing Arts brings a suspense-filled murder-mystery to stage at 7:30 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 20 ) and Saturday, Nov. 21, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 21-22, in Welsbacher Theatre, Hughes Metropolitan Complex. * During the 2016 spring break, Shocker student leaders from a variety of disciplines will participate in a service-learning experience and class that allows students to understand and make a positive impact in the area of food insecurity in New York City.
