* Take a break from the stress of finals week by trying out some of our Shocker Fit classes today (Monday, Nov. 30) to Friday, Dec. 4. The classes are free. Visit wichita.edu/shockerfit for a schedule and more information.
* Ennovar has student jobs available. Ennovar's jobs and an application are posted on the employment section of its website at http://www.wichita.edu/ennovar. Look through the available student opportunities, find a position that sounds like a fit for you and apply at http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=ennovar&p=/apply/ . If your skills match our needs, we will contact you to begin the interview process.
* Space is still available for students to live on campus for the spring semester. Students commuting have the option of signing a spring only contract that ends in May 2016. Log in to your myWSU account and select "Campus Housing" under the home tab, and then complete the contract and payment. Room requests are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so complete the sign-up process as soon as possible.
* Free flu shots are still available to all enrolled students from Student Health Services in Ahlberg Hall.
* Cooperative Education and Internship positions allow students to get real-world experience in their major before graduation. Get started today by activating your handshake account at https://wichitastate.joinhandshake.com/login, and sign up for the College Through Career Workshop: Resumes/Cover Letters & Co-op and Internships. * Undergraduate student projects are sought for the Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. Undergraduate Research Day is an opportunity for students to present their research and creative activity experiences to state lawmakers in Topeka. * The Engaging Leaders Program offers students the unique opportunity to explore, discuss and analyze various professional fields directed by executive officials from different companies, corporations and industries throughout the Wichita area. The program introduces participants to those leadership and transferable skills that rising leaders should possess and consider when choosing a career path. * Provide a Christmas gift for a local child through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. Student Involvement and the Rhatigan Student Center will host an Angel Tree in the RSC to help Wichita children have a Merry Christmas. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, stop by the University Information Desk on the first floor of the RSC to choose your angel off the tree. Gifts then are returned back to the information desk once they are purchased.
* The campus post office will again sell letters from Santa until Wednesday, Dec. 16. Letters will be sent to Santa Claus, Indiana, for a pictorial postmark and then forwarded to the address you put on the envelope. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?4439 for samples of pictures and pictorial postmark.
