Volleyball team to face Kansas State in first round of NCAA Tournament

The Wichita State volleyball team will face Kansas State in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Shockers (26-8) will be making their ninth NCAA Tournament appearance overall and will face the Wildcats (17-11). No. 4 national seed Nebraska (26-4) will face Harvard (15-10) at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The winners of the two matches will face off at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. All matches will be played in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Shockers won the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title for the sixth time in school history and the MVC Tournament title for the third time. WSU is making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013. The WSU Ticket Office will take ticket requests until 5 p.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 1). Seating will be based on priority points.
