* Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a Weapons Safety Open Forum from 10 a.m.-noon today (Friday, Dec. 4) in 211 Hubbard Hall to discuss the pending extension of Kansas weapons policies to include university campuses. The purpose of the forum is to engage WSU faculty and staff in an open discussion of the impacts of allowing weapons to be carried on campus, such as their impact on campus culture, climate and collective safety. * The women's basketball team will host Southeast Missouri State at 12:05 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 4) in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* Sigma Tau Delta will host a celebration commemorating Tina Bennett's retirement after many years of service to the English department and the university, from 2:30-4 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 4) in 261 Rhatigan Student Center.

* Final grading for fall 2015 courses is open. Faculty can access the Banner grading form via the Teach/Advise tab in the myWSU portal. The grading period will close at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15. A grading email with further details was sent to faculty and staff who are flagged as eligible instructors in Banner. Questions about grading can be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 978-3090.

* The OneStop office invites you to an open house celebrating its one year anniversary from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, in 261 RSC.

* Housing and Residence Life is looking for student leaders to fill the Resident Assistant and Peer Academic Leader positions for the 2016-17 academic year. Please encourage students to come to any of our information sessions to learn more. Applications are available now and are due Friday, Feb. 5. * The Office of Human Resources (HR) will retire the AAO-1 Search Process Reports on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016. Those who are conducting searches and have an approved AAO-1 Step 1 will complete their search using the retired AAO-1 forms.
